The mission of Telecom Services, as a vital support service to Trinity Western University , is to provide quality voice communication services that will enable the community to function efficiently and successfully; contribute to the development of godly Christian leaders and positively impact all who interact with the university.
Trinity Western University is pleased to provide phone service for all resident students. Each residence room is equipped with a phone line that is activated for local calling when you arrive. Your phone number and instructions for setting up your voicemail will be posted in your room when you move in. You will be able to make local calls and personalize your voicemail immediately. All that is required is that you provide your own telephone set. (Wireless hansets using the 2.4 GHz range are not permitted as they interfere with wireless networks in the building.) The cost for local phone service is included in your housing fees.
Long distance calling is only available via a pre-paid calling card available at the TWU bookstore or any local convenience store.
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Telecom Services at email@example.com or call 604.513.2111.
Telecom Services provides phone service for all staff and faculty offices. Each office is equipped with a basic phone set and line that is activated for local calling. All University departments are responsible for the costs related to the telephone service in their own department, including long distance charges, toll charges, and connection charges where applicable.
The Campus Telephone Directory is updated automatically at the end of each weekday. Campus Directories are not provided as the directory can be viewed or printed from our internal website. All queries related to the Directory should be directed to Telecom Services (local 2111).
Guides and Manuals are available to staff / faculty on the internal website
