Trinity Western University has designed FOCUS, a new freshman program for students who want TWU’s brand of excellent academics, one-on-one professor interaction, and Christian perspective but can’t uproot their lives to get to campus. You’ll earn the same university credits as on-campus students, in a program designed to help you increase your GPA. Go to the FOCUS website
New and innovative. Freshman Academy offers two convenient ways to begin your education at Trinity Western University. This program is designed for students who may not be admitted to the regular university because of GPA issues or missing academic courses and is fully accredited and transferable. TWU offers elementary, middle & high school teachers practical courses for professional development. Most of the courses can be applied towards the Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership (which ladders into TWU’s MA in Leadership - Education stream) or the Graduate Certificate in Christian Schooling (which ladders into ACTS Seminaries’ MA in Christian Studies).

Trinity Western University's Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Certificate Program is a comprehensive (30 sem. hrs.) university program that provides an overview, theories, and practical teaching techniques for various learning styles, age groupings, and levels in teaching English as a second or foreign language.
