FOCUS - First Year Online

Trinity Western University has designed FOCUS, a new freshman program for students who want TWU’s brand of excellent academics, one-on-one professor interaction, and Christian perspective but can’t uproot their lives to get to campus. You’ll earn the same university credits as on-campus students, in a program designed to help you increase your GPA. Go to the FOCUS website

Freshman Academy

New and innovative. Freshman Academy offers two convenient ways to begin your education at Trinity Western University.  This program is designed for students who may not be admitted  to the regular university because of GPA issues or missing academic courses and is fully accredited and transferable. Teachers' Courses

TWU offers elementary, middle & high school teachers practical courses for professional development. Most of the courses can be applied towards the Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership (which ladders into TWU’s MA in Leadership - Education stream) or the Graduate Certificate in Christian Schooling (which ladders into ACTS Seminaries’ MA in Christian Studies).  

Part-time studies

Thank you for your interest in part time studies at Trinity Western University. Through TWU Extension, we provide individuals with an opportunity to access TWU courses on a casual basis. The learning, discovery, and growth you will experience at TWU will provide you with a meaningful worldview and inspire you to make a difference. You can view a list of courses being offered at here. Retreat courses

Retreating from today's hectic life-styles, this type of concentrated format in an out-of-the-way country location, provides an opportunity for professors and students to have a deeper impact in each other's lives. Together they experience all aspects of life as they exchange ideas, build community, and participate jointly in recreational and basic living activities.

TESL Certificate

Trinity Western University's Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Certificate Program is a comprehensive (30 sem. hrs.) university program that provides an overview, theories, and practical teaching techniques for various learning styles, age groupings, and levels in teaching English as a second or foreign language.
