Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP)
In summer 2009, TWU received $2.6 million of federal funding through the Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP). These funds will be used to upgrade IT and communications systems on campus and expand the Anna and J. G. Neufeld Science Centre. The University is now in the process of raising the matching funds required by the KIP.
If you would like to contribute some of the matching funds needed to complete these projects, please contact Paul Weme, VP for Development at paul.weme@twu.ca or 604.513.2121 (ext. 3309).

Neufeld Science Centre Expansion
Advanced programs in the sciences and health sciences continue to gain momentum at TWU. The addition to the Neufeld Science Centre will give these growing programs the space they need to grow. The addition will make room for new instructional and research laboratories in the areas of chemistry, biology, and nursing.

Information & Communications Technology Upgrade
The campus-wide upgrade of TWU’s information and communications technology infrastructure will involve increasing the speed and availability of the existing network service, expanding the storage space on our servers, and implementing a critical emergency response and mass alert system. This will facilitate improved student/staff research interactions and faculty collaborations across multiple locations.
