Announcements

The Board of Governors is pleased to advise that, in honour of the University’s 50th anniversary year, the Board has established the position of Chancellor of Trinity Western University. The Chancellor shall be an advisor to the President and act as the ceremonial head of TWU for a term of 5 years.

The Chancellor may represent TWU in university events and ceremonies but shall have no other administrative or operational role in the affairs of TWU. The Chancellor shall serve without remuneration as both an advocate for, and representative of, TWU in its dealings with the business community, governmental entities, evangelical Christian communities and the general public.

With this new framework, the President shall hold the office of Vice Chancellor. If the office of Chancellor is vacant, the President shall serve as Acting Chancellor.
