Trinity Western University

Inauguration

TWU's broad community of donors, friends, government officials, joined with the campus and Board of Governors on October 14th, 2006 to formally inaugurate Dr. Jonathan S. Raymond as TWU President. The Chandos Pattison Auditorium was the perfect setting for the ceremony, which included a regal procession with over one hundred faculty in traditional academic colors, triumphant music and vibrant speakers highlighting the university's four decades of academic vitality.

Dr. Paul Rader, former president of Asbury College and long-time friend of Dr. Raymond, offered the Inaugural Challenge, and many provincial politicians extended their greetings and welcomed the new president, including The Honourable Gordon Campbell, Premier of B.C., The Honourable Mary Polak, MLA, The Honourable Kurt Alberts, Mayor of the Langley Township, and The Honourable Peter Fassbender, Mayor of Langley City.
