Are you looking to have a healthier lifestyle in 2015? We want to help you accomplish your goals! Be a part of the 2015 Wellness Challenge from January 26,2015 until May 1, 2015.
Each department will form a team of health enthusiasts who would like to improve their health this year.
Team members will choose one fitness or health goal that they would like to commit to. Examples of goals could be:
- Drinking 8 glasses of water a day
- 30 minutes of exercise a day or 3 days a week
- Eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day
- Attending two TWU wellness groups a week (Dance Fit, Soccer, Keep Fit, Strengthen and Lengthen, etc)
- Losing 1 pound per week
Team members will appoint a Team Leader who will record the team members and submit the team Wellness Challenge Registration Form by February 6, 2015 to HR; and monitor the progress of the department's team.
Team members who achieve their goal each week will need to inform their team leader for a weekly checkmark on the TWU Wellness Tracker spreadsheet.
Awards and Prizes:
Prizes will be given to individuals who achieve their wellness goals at the end of the Challenge. There will be a grand prize to the winning team of $250 transfer into its department's professional development G/L.
