AANDC has primary responsibility for education for First Nations people on reserves. This site highlights information about the Elementary, Secondary and Post-Secondary education programs provided through Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. |
The Ministry of Education is responsible for Aboriginal Education in the B.C. public school system K-12. Through the Aboriginal Education Enhancements Branch, the Ministry is committed to working with education partners, school districts and Aboriginal communities to improve Aboriginal student success. |
