This database offered by the Evaluation and Development Institute provides only resources that have been reviewed and found to be of the highest quality. They seek to provide only child-safe links, useful for teachers, students, parents, or librarians; including actual documents, projects, pictures, and discussion groups that are current.

British Columbia Teacher Librarians Association

The BCTLA is a specialist organization of the BCTF concerned with school libraries, cooperative planning, cooperative teaching, literature appreciation, resource-based instruction and advocacy.  This site provides links to additional resource materials for teacher librarians, teachers and students.

Canadian Association for School Libraries

The Canadian Association for School Libraries (CASL) was formed when the members of The Association for Teacher-Librarianship in Canada (ATLC) and The Canadian School Library Association (CSLA) recognized the need for one strong national organization. The CASL provides a national forum for promoting school library programs, as an essential element in the educational process, through advocacy, continuing education, and leadership.

Oregon School Library Information System

The OSLIS provides quality licensed online databases for K-12 learners including reliable information resources, online tutorials, and age-appropriate articles with reading levels defined for K-12. Information skills practice is provided as well as resources to instruct students on citing work and how to research.

This site offers one stop for librarians to find indispensable information needed to integrate libraries into school curriculum, become leaders in the areas of technology, reading, and information literacy and create high-quality collections for children and young adults.

Teacher Librarian

The Teacher Librarian website is designed specifically for the library professional meeting the needs of children and young adults. It provides relevant articles exploring current issues such as collaboration, leadership, technology, advocacy, information literacy, and management as well as reviews of professional materials, strategies to manage library resources, articles on information technology and themed internet resources.
