Write-N-Cite
Write-N-Cite is a utility that allows Microsoft Word (Windows and Mac) users to run an abbreviated version of RefWorks in their word processor. With Write-N-Cite, you can cite references in a manuscript with the click of a button. The utility installs an Add-in to your Word toolbar (Windows users only). It runs as a separate application on Macs.

Troubleshooting:
Blank screens
If you get a blank screen instead of having RefWorks pop up when you download citations in an EBSCO or other database, the problem is likely that you have a pop-up blocker operating on your computer. A lot of computers are equipped with pop up blockers (e.g., Google toolbar), and the browser sees the opening RefWorks window as a popup and prevents it from opening. The workaround is simple – Hold the CTRL key down while you click on Save to save citations to RefWorks. This tells the popup blocker that a popup is being allowed.
Login problems
Always log in through the TWU Library home page. You will need first to authenticate as a TWU user, with your usual user name/password to get into any of our databases. You should then see "Trinity Western University" clearly in the top box. If not, you will need to log in with your group code:
Write-N-Cite for Macs: Write-N-Cite for the Mac does not work with .docx documents. To format them, save them in .doc format and then run format bibliography on the .doc formatted document. If necessary you can then re-save the formatted document as a .docx file.
