With RefWorks you can:
Graduating soon? Alumni? It's now possible to maintain access to your RefWorks bibliographies after you graduate. You will need to obtain your RefWorks group code before you graduate. It's found by logging in at:
https://ezproxy.student.twu.ca/loggedin/pswds.htm . You will then log in at www.refworks.com using your group code and then your individual login. If you want to make sure that you have a backup of your references, download them in a format that can be imported by bibliographic software such as RefWorks or EndNote. |

| Write-N-Cite |
Write-N-Cite is a utility that allows Microsoft Word (Windows and Mac) users to run an abbreviated version of RefWorks in their word processor. With Write-N-Cite, you can cite references in a manuscript with the click of a button. The utility installs a tab on your Word ribbon.
Downloading Write-N-Cite
To install Write-N-Cite, you need to log into your RefWorks account. This video tutorial demonstrates the procedure.

| Troubleshooting |
Blank screens
If you get a blank screen instead of having RefWorks pop up when you download citations in a database, the problem is likely that you have a pop-up blocker operating on your computer. To solve this problem, hold the CTRL key down while you click on Save to save citations to RefWorks. This tells the popup blocker that a popup is being allowed.
Login problems
Login to RefWorks through the library homepage before attempting to export references from a database. If the login window (below) doesn't say Trinity Western University, you may need to use our Group Code to successfully log in. Note that you'll need to log in using your username and password to get the Group Code.
