Co-op Procedures & Forms

The Procedure

  1. Download the co-op application here or pick up an application from the Student Success Centre (above the bookstore in Reimer Student Centre).
  2. Return the completed application to The Centre.
  3. Schedule an entrance interview with The Centre.
  4. Take PREP 100 (Career Preparation).
  5. Complete - Co-operative Education Learning Agreement/Work Term Registration

The Entrance Interview

The Associate Director will interview you after receiving all necessary paperwork and a transcript. Selection into the program is based on:

  • Academic performance-minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Communication skills
  • Attitude/motivation
  • Permission from your Academic Advisor
  • Entrance Interview

PREP 100 (Career Preparation)

This co-op orientation course covers: a biblical perspective of the role of career development and work life; Christian principles for career exploration and planning; developing self, occupational and economic awareness; utilizing integrative and strategic career decision making processes, and pre-employment skills.
