Presenter: Mary Reeves, Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Langley

Mary has worked in a number of different fields but her career history is mostly with a business and an administrative focus. These fields include; private business, city, school and not for profit. She completed three years, as Abbotsford's Mayor in 2005 and now works as Executive Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley. She has been involved in community organizations, churches and schools as a volunteer.
Mary is a single mother and very proud of her two married children and five energetic and loveable grandchildren. Most of all Mary has a passion for developing healthier community and investing in the lives of our future generations.

Presenter: Jennifer Copley, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator for the Canadian Cancer Society, Fraser Valley

Jennifer Copley is a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), Fraser Valley Region. In this position Jennifer is responsible for recruitment, training, support and stewardship of volunteers. Jennifer is passionate about volunteerism and before joining the CCS as an employee in 2011; Jennifer volunteered for the organization in a number of capacities, and continues to volunteer each summer at Camp Goodtimes. Jennifer is also a BC Certified teacher and has worked for a variety of non-profit organizations including YWCA Vancouver and Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland.

Presenter: Janice Nikkel, TWU Alum, Development Officer, The Wellspring Foundation
Janice derives much joy connecting people to great causes and great people. She specializes in the areas of networking, marketing, sales, writing, promoting, and fund raising, but has been a world traveller, a summer camp director, and a farmer.
Her current project is as Development Officer for The Wellspring Foundation for

Education - an organization partnering with Rwandans to empower a new generation of leaders through a transformational Christian values based education. She's married to Peter, a high school teacher in Surrey, and mom to 4 adventurous kids. Janice has her BA and her MA in Leadership from Trinity Western University.
