One person’s trash is another’s treasure. This is definitely true as part of Earth Week, March 15-19. Leianne Gunter, the president of A Rocha TWU, is excited to launch their biggest event of the year. It is designed to increase awareness of environmental issues through numerous events such as bringing old clothes and goods to a SWAP. Full story

Short-term missions with long-term impact

Mark Wiens won’t be going home this spring break. He is co-leading a Global Projects missions trip to Calgary, Alberta. Mark felt a strong call to take this role after his positive experience leading last year’s missions trip to Sacramento, California. “Missions has always been close to my heart,” said Mark. Culture Week is here – are you in?

You can taste and see the world on campus February 8-12 as part of Culture Week. The event, formerly International Week, is now “Culture Week” to emphasize that everyone is included, not just international students. Everyone has a culture to share. The week is kicked off with the International Banquet on Monday, a feast of tastes, entertainment and colorful decor. Full story
