Chapel Worship Team Member

Approximate number of positions offered:20

The goal of our dynamic chapel program is to exalt the Triune God through biblical, Christ-centred worship and prayer, and to inspire people to pursue a lifestyle of worship that glorifies him in deed, word, thought and attitude. We believe that providing leadership for congregational worship is a very important role to play in the life of any Christian community, and that it flows out of the life that each individual lives before God and in Christian community with others. Instruments we're looking for:

Of course, we're looking for the standard instruments you'd find in a contemporary worship team - soprano, alto, tenor and baritone/bass vocalists, acoustic guitarists, pianoists and keyboardist, electric guitarists, bass players, and drummers. But we value diversity of instrumental arrangements too, so if you play any colour instrument - violin/viola, cello, double bass, flute, trumpet, saxophone, oboe, clarinet, penny whistle, percussion (djembe, conga, bodhran, shakers, tambourine, rain stick), didjeridoo, sitar, DJ console, or anything else, we'd love to put you to use on one of our teams.

NOTE: If you are not yet attending TWU, but will be attending TWU in the upcoming year, we will consider you for a team, provided you contact us by March 13, complete an application form (which will be emailed to you), and either make room in your schedule to come on campus and participate in an audition, or send a recording demonstrating your abilities as a musician. (Contact us for more details regarding what should be included in that recording.)
