The following publications are part of the TWU Chapel resource library. If you are leading worship for an on-campus group or event, you may borrow or draw from these resources. Copying for events and groups is ruled by strict copyright restrictions; please comply with these. TWU's copyright agreements do not allow us to make these resources available to copy for personal use.

Songbooks for small groups or personal use are available to borrow from the Student Life office
TWU subscribes to CCLI's SongSelect program, which offers us the capability of downloading lyrics and/or lead sheets (melody with chords) available within the CCLI catalogue.

Song Discovery CDs and Lead Sheet collections, Vol. 12 - 50 (a few missing). Worship Leader magazine's subscription-based update on new worship music.
Gather: Comprehensive. GIA Publications. The premier Catholic-based hymnal in publication. Includes resources for daily prayer, church rites, Mass, and Hymns and Songs arranged by the liturgical calendar and by theological theme

Sing! A New Creation. CRC Publications. A very good, smaller hymnal/songbook including classic hymns, modern hymns, Iona and Taize songs, choruses, and prayers from various sources, including international music. Arranged according to liturgical structures, the liturgical calendar, and other themes.
African-American Heritage Hymnal. GIA Publications. A groundbreaking hymnal compilation of hymns, spirituals, choruses and prayers coming out of the unique history, tradition and culture of the African-American church.
The HYMNAL for Worship and Celebration. Word Publishing. Classic hymnal arranged by theological themes. Includes brief services that could serve as an inspiration for service planning.
The Worshiping Church: A Hymnal. Hope Publishing. Another classic hymnal arranged by theological themes. Excellent source of historic texts, with very good indexes.
Iona Abbey Music Book. Wild Goose Worship Group. A collection of songs to complement the Iona Abbey Worship Book (see Liturgical Resources page). Iona's heart for justice, mercy, and community, informed by Celtic spirituality, is evident throughout.
Taize 2005-2006. An up-to-date collection of the prayer songs used in the Taize Community in France.
The Cyber Hymnal: An excellent online source of hymn lyrics, tunes, and author information.
