The life of a student is fast paced. So fast that you may think there is no time to find and attend a church in the local area. However, your pace of life as a student is not an excuse to push finding a church off the priority list, in fact, it is the reason you need to make it a priority.
Attending church off-campus introduces you to a community of believers that is made up of a varied and diverse population, it provides mentorship opportunities, and participation in the life and activities of the church body.
Not to mention: It gets you off campus and away from homework for a few hours each week!
First, you can click Local Churches and get connected to a list of local churches (sorted according to denomination).
or
Second, you can participate in a brand new program called "Resident Take-Out." How it works is that commuter students who live in the local area, or returning students who have a home church, offer to take new students to their church. If you are interested in either helping out or taking us up on this opportunity contact chett.fitchett@twu.ca for more information.
