Women's Mentorship

Growing in our relationships with God and each other as we...

Talk about the stuff that matters.

What is Mentorship?

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the day approaching." (Heb. 10:23-25 TNIV)

This Mentoring Program exists to provide healthy relationships where two people connect through authenticity, accountability, encouragement and prayer.

Mentoring partnerships are designed to promote spiritual growth while also addressing aspects of social, emotional, intellectual and physical well-being. The mentor listens and offers support to the student, helps to ease the strains of university life, and the two can develop an on-going friendship.

How Mentoring Happens

There are two streams within the mentoring program:

  1. Staff/Faculty to Student Mentoring:
Within this area, staff and faculty are placed with each of our upper classmen student mentors. Contact us if you are...
    • interested in being a faculty or staff mentor
    • interested in being a student mentor (3rd/4th year students only) who are also mentored by a faculty/staff woman

  2. Student to Student Mentoring:
This branch of the mentoring program allows you as an undergrad student to:
    • Meet with a fourth year student for an hour every week
    • Gain perspective from another person who can relate closely to what you are going through as a university student, and who can offer you support, encouragement and accountability
    • Build an intentional spiritual friendship that will focus on the different aspects of who you are
    • Women mentor women
