Langley Lodge
Just 7 minutes from Trinity Western University on Glover Road are 160 elderly residents who love to meet students at the local senior care home center, Langley Lodge. In this ministry, students desire to bring dignity, respect, and hope to the residents through encouragement, a listening ear, and prayers. Students spend time with residents every Sunday night, shining the love of Christ through a simple touch, a conversation, playing games, making cards, or an invitation to participate in the hymn sing.
Highlights of the year always include Christimas caroling and singing with the residents during the Hymn sing. Langley Lodge is a worthy investment of time and students find themselves being richly blessed and encouraged in the process.
