Welcome to Touch of Home

For Students away from family on birthdays, holidays and other special occasions, nothing is more welcome than an unexpected treat and a warm thought from home. When you want to go beyond mailing a card or placing a long-distance phone call let TWU's Parent Relations office arrange a special surprise.

Through Touch of Home, you can order creatively packaged gift baskets, flowers or even a pizza party for your son or daughter. By simply ordering online, a memorable gift will be waiting for your student - we'll take care of the details. If you have any questions regarding ordering on line please call 1-888-817-3759.

Choose a package and any extras (such as a helium balloon), pick a date, and your student will be notified of the package awaiting them in our friendly office on the main floor of the Reimer Student Centre! Orders can be placed online 24 hours a day and will be delivered Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, September through April.

Please Note: When ordering, the website will only accept the next days date from the current date, however, we will do our best to ensure same-day delivery on items such as Hug-a-Mugs, Snack Attacks, and Pizza and Wings gift certificates. Please allow 2-3 business days for delivery of Floral gifts. Cakes MUST be ordered at least 4 business days in advance of delivery. 

TOUCH OF HOME ORDERS WILL NOT BE DELIVERED DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. REGULAR DELIVERIES WILL RESUME ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2011.

	Gotta a Bug Mug (GET WELL)  $15 (tax included) Someone under the weather? Warm them up with an assortment of soup mixes, herbal teas, apple cider drink, ginger ail, Kleenex, cough drops, All wrapped up in cellow in an oversized decorator mug.
	Snack Attack $30 (tax included) Choose Sweet Tooth, Healthy pack, or half n half Included in these 3 options of decorative containers are more than 25 items including full-sized and bite-sized Milk and dark chocolate, cranberry wafers, fruit juice, bottled water, nuts, veggie chips, Regular chips, licorice, popcorn, candy, granola bars and more. There's plenty for sharing!   Available in Sweet Tooth, Healthy Pack or Half&Half varieties.

PIZZA & WINGS PARTY  (Gift Card) $35 (tax included) This wing-dinger of a party includes a huge 17" pizza, one dozen chicken wings, and 4 soft drinks. Enough for 4 girls or 2 guys! Dining Services requires students to give 24 hours notice to redeem their gift card.

FLOWERS

FLORAL BOUQUETS large from $30 (tax included) Large fresh hand-tied bouquets beautifully arranged and wrapped in clear cellophane and bright ribbons and presented in a large glass vase. Two sizes available.  Only roses will do? Touch of Home can cater to almost any personally tailored request.

LIVING BOUQUETS from $25 (tax included) A mixed planter basket gives your student something to enjoy and nurture all year long.

AMERICAN THANKSGIVING DINNER:

For Americans, Thanksgiving has as much, if not more, emphasis on celebrating with family than Christmas. This is a holiday that American students value tremendously, and so in addition to TWU serving a Canadian Thanksgiving turkey dinner, Touch of Home also plans an Amercian Thanksgiving dinner for this smaller group of students. All students are welcome to attend.

For our US students: $25 (tax included) Every year, Touch of Home/Parent Relations hosts a special home-style semi-formal Thanksgiving dinner complete with all the trimmings on the American Thanksgiving Thursday. Seating is limited, so please call early for reservations and information. All students are welcome.

SEASONAL GIFTS: We also have seasonal and holiday gifts available during Christmas, Easter and Valentines Day.  They are posted for your viewing closer to these occasions.

Valentines Day and Easter gifts are delivered only on the day of these occasions, unless it falls on a weekend where they will be delivered on the last working day before the occasion.

The contents and wrapping of any Touch of Home package can be tailored to suit any special occasion including birthdays, Valentines or Easter.

Please give 10 days notice for any special order.
