Wellness refers to the presence of a healthy, balanced lifestyle, not merely the absence of disease. Wellness does not happen automatically, it is an active, dynamic and intentional process of change and growth. The intent of the Wellness Centre staff is to help students develop in six areas of life: physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual and vocational. Health in these six areas is foundational to becoming all that God created us to be. Health Services, Counselling Services, Recreation Services and the Student Success Centre together, provide an integrated approach towards the pursuit of personal wellness.
