CanAm Football

Thanks to all the players, referees and fans that participated in the 07-08 CanAm Football competition. The air was cold and crisp but it was a perfect evening for the epic battles that unfolded. The women tussled back and forth for most of the game but near the end of regulation time, Trista Russell caught a long bomb from the QB to put Canadians ahead 6 - 0. After a 1 point conversion the game ended with a final score of 7 - 0 in favour of the Canucks.

The American Men were all business as they handed the Canadians their first loss in a number of years. Quarter Back Cliff Demastus, was able to shine behind a solid line of blockers and connected well with receiver Bryan Kotjan and others to lead the Yankee's to a commanding 12 - 0 victory.
