Players may only challenge another player within 2 ranked positions of themselves. Matches will be best of 3 sets or will last for one hour, whatever is agreeable to both contestants. If the match persists for an hour, the player who has won the most games will be named the victor. A Set will last until one player has won 6 games. Players must win a set by 2 games. If players are tied 6 games - 6 games, then a tie-break game to 7 points will be played to determine the set winner. While playing out a tie-break, player (a) will serve for one (1) point and then player (b) will serve for two points. Following this, player (a) will then serve for two points. Each player will take turns serving for two (2) points until the game is won and the set winner is determined. Keep in mind that games (and tie-breaks) must be won by two points. Therefore, if a game is tied at 40 - 40 (or deuce), play should continue using 'deuce' and 'advantage' terminology until a player wins by 2 points. Use the regular, British scoring system to keep track of games.
