50th Anniversary Graduation Weekend Schedule

The Board of Governors, President, and graduating class are pleased to announce the events of our Graduation Weekend where we will be celebrating Trinity Western University's 50th year.  This schedule is also available in pdf version.

THURSDAY, APRIL 26, 2012

GRADUATION REHEARSAL (all graduands)
1:30-4:00PM
Langley Events Centre
Mandatory for all students from all faculties and schools who are participating in the commencement ceremonies.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE RECEPTION
7:00pm to 8:30pm
President's Reception Hall, 2nd floor, Reimer Student Centre
Open to all Bachelor of Science graduands and their guests.  By invitation only.

FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2012

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS COMMISSIONING CEREMONY
10:30am to 12:00pm
Newlands Golf & Country Club
Open to all School of Business graduands and their guests.  By invitation only.

HUMAN SERVICES CERTIFICATE PROGRAM COMMISSIONING CEREMONY
9:45am to 12:00pm
Reimer Student Centre Dining Room
Open to all Human Services Certificate graduands and their guests.  By invitation only.

ENGLISH DEPARTMENT GRADUATION TEA
2:00pm to 4:00pm
Robert N. Thompson Building, Room 126
Open to all Department of English graduands and their guests.  By invitation only.

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION RECEPTION AND CEREMONY
3:30pm to 6:00pm
Northwest Building Auditorium
Bachelor of Education graduands and their guests.  By invitation only.

NURSES' RECOGNITION CEREMONY
2:00pm to 4:00pm
Langley Immanuel Christian Reformed Church
The traditional "pinning" ceremony for Nurses.  Open to all School of Nursing graduands and their guests.  By invitation only.

BACCALAUREATE SERVICE (all graduands)
7:00pm to 8:30pm
David E. Enarson Gymnasium
A worship service and final Chapel of the year.  Open to all graduands, family, friends, and the TWU community.  Graduands must assemble in Fraser Lounge with gowns (caps not required) by 6:30pm for processional.

UNIVERSITY RECEPTION (all graduands)

This is an opportunity for our alumni to welcome this year's graduands into the Alumni Association.  Open to all graduands, family members, and the TWU community.

Graduating students and their families will celebrate a special 50th anniversary graduation.
Processional begins promptly at 2;30pm.  Graduands must arrive by 1:00pm.
