“I welcome the opportunity to be able to commend to you the value to your ministry of the Christian Entrepreneur Program through Trinity Western University. We were able to host Rick Goossen as he presented to our business leaders at Christian Life Assembly [BC, Canada], the teaching on 'The Call of the Christian Entrepreneur.' Rick does a wonderful job to assist the business leader and expressly the entrepreneur in understanding their 'calling.' This teaching will empower your present and emerging business leaders to recognize and depend upon God for His anointing and direction.”
Harvey Trauter
Associate Pastor, Christian Life Assembly, Langley, BC
Why should Christian leaders address the issue of faith and business integration? A primary reason is that an important resource is being squandered. Business people often do not feel at home in a church.
“The alarming state of the church’s ability to be a relevant force influencing business can be summed up in a simple observation: we already see many signs of Christian businesspeople from every denomination rejecting religion, and religion overwhelmingly rejecting businesspeople.”
[Nash, Laura & McLennan, Scotty, Church on Sunday, Work on Monday: the challenge of fusing Christian values with business life, p. 255]
The School of Business at Trinity Western University has an antidote: “The Christian Entrepreneur Program.”
We believe that entrepreneurs are called to the marketplace, and that this needs to be clarified and confirmed, so that the influence of Christians in the business community can be magnified.
Rick is a professional public speaker who has addressed this topic throughout North America. Our objective is to develop awareness for the Christian Entrepreneur Program.
