Review with students:

  • Salmon life cycle – see Pre-Trip Activities section (p.8)
  • Field Journaling Techniques – see Pre-Trip Activities section (p.8)
  • Vocabulary List – see Pre-Trip Activities (p.8)

Teacher/Parent Review:

  • Field trip itinerary
  • Directions & Map

Bring to the Field trip:

  • Pencils
  • Warm clothing, rain gear (Please wear boots if possible)
  • Lunches
  • Water Bottle
  • Large zip lock bag for each student

Other Items:

  • All drivers have copies of the map and directions to the field trip
  • Students have been organized into groups of 6-8, and an adult is available to accompany each group on the trail.

* WE WILL PROVIDE EACH STUDENT WITH A FIELD JOURNAL.
