Internship: Ottawa Citizen

"My semester at the LLC has surpassed my expectations. I plan to pursue a career in journalism, and my main objective of the LLC was landing an internship with a daily newspaper. The internship portion has been incredible, but I gained so much from the other aspects of the program as well. The course material is demanding and mentally stimulating but has given me tools to apply in everyday life. Above all, living in community with such a diverse group of students daily shaped me more and more in who I was becoming. The dynamics of personalities, passions and perspectives truly enrich the LLC experience. And to do so in the cultural political hub of Ottawa is making this semester into what I consider has been the best part of my undergraduate education."
