The Laurentian Leadership Centre is in the former home of turn-of-the-century lumber baron, J.R. Booth. Built in 1909, the mansion has been completely renovated to accommodate student living. From the main floor rooms complete with intricate wood carvings, original wall tapestries and marble fireplaces to the comfortable and updated dorm rooms, this facility combines old world charm and extravagance with practical alterations to make students' experience the best possible. The community kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and utensils, down to stereo/tv system. The second floor houses the classroom, tech room with computers, printer and quiet study space and reading room complete with full keyboard, guitar and bongo drums. With full wireless access throughout the house, a TV/Rec room and complimentary laundry facilities as well as bicycles for students' use, coming home from your internship every day to the LLC will be a highlight of your day.
