Setting the Stage

Flat, black, and versatile. These three words describe the new interior of Freedom Hall. Home to Theatre at TWU, the newly renovated space is now a flexible black box-style theatre. The sloping floor has been levelled, and the infamous orange chairs are now gone. Moveable, collapsible risers now sit in their place and the floor is rumoured to have a trap door — a first for TWU. This type of staging allows Theatre at TWU to create any size performance area needed.
