Breaking $2 million
TWU Spartans golf tournaments build on 17 years of success
This year’s annual Trinity Western University WIRELESSWAVE Golf Tournament fundraiser, held at Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club, broke the half-million-dollar mark, netting over $572,000 for Spartans Athletics. This pushed the event’s total earnings over its 17-year history beyond $2 million.
Since the tournament’s inception in 1994, Trinity Western has increased the amount of funds raised every year, bringing in a total of $2,375,000. These funds are used to support TWU student-athlete scholarships and scholarship endowments.
This year’s tournament and banquet featured keynote speaker, NHL Hall of Famer, Larry Robinson.
