One Mission – Many Stories

Celebrating TWU at 50

twu’s 50th anniversary is an opportunity to rediscover a remarkable story—one made up of countless experiences of faith and transformation. These stories unfold in the lives of people who come to TWU to begin a journey. And when the common root of community is Christ, remarkable things happen.

In this first of two 50th anniversary issues of Trinity Western, we explore some of those journeys through the lens of the anniversary theme, Rooted and Reaching.

Rooted in a rich Christian intellectual heritage, TWU educates and cultivates people. This sense of rootedness is the strength of our community that engenders transformation and lasting impact (Col. 2:6-7). Our past inspires us as we fulfil our calling to be a place of knowledge and understanding and a people of faith, hope, and charity. Built up through the vision and hard work of countless people, we continue to live out the miracle that is TWU.

UCOMM Team

Reaching forward, TWU is casting a vision of continued hope and commitment to being an exceptional place of learning and scholarship in pursuit of Christ’s truth, reconciliation, compassion, and hope.

We invite you to see yourself in this theme. Share your TWU story with us and be a part of the history that is happening even now.
