TWUSA Ombudsman

The Ombudsman position exists to serve and support students in a variety of situations. The primary focus of the Ombudsman is to support and act as a resource to students who are in the accountability process.  The Ombudsman may be contacted at any stage in the accountability process, and information shared with the Ombudsman will be governed by strict rules of confidentiality. A secondary focus of the position is to assist students in other university processes such as academic appeals, housing appeals, etc..  The ombudsman will walk with students through the applicable process in one or more of the following ways: He or she will educate students regarding the process, in some cases assist students with their preparation for meetings or appeals, and be present at meetings or appeals.   The Ombudsman may be contacted at: twusainternalrelations@twu.ca .
