It would also be appreciated if you would inform the nominee of your intention to nominate him/her.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, February 2 at midnight. We encourage all those who are interested and enrolled in a graduate program at TWU (ACTS or the School of Graduate Studies) to run for an executive position.

The Fall 2004 ACTS and School of Graduate Studies elections will be running next week, Monday through Friday. The Voter's Guide has been updated, so be sure to read over the list of candidates.
The newly elected Executive Council is asking for nominations for program representatives and administrative staff. See the newly updated Position Descriptions page for details on what those jobs entail and be sure to read about the upcoming vote on the Voter's Guide page, which has the details for how to nominate someone (including yourself.) Read the full letter here.
The election is over and we have our first Executive Counsel! Congratulations to Paul Perschon (President Elect), Amanda Baker (Vice President Elect), and Bonnie Rai (Vice President of Finance Elect.) For the details, click here.
The vote has been extended by one day to Sunday night at 11:59:59 in order to better serve people who might not have had enough time to vote this week. Results will still be posted Monday morning. This is partially as a result of the occasional network problems that have been preventing TWU Pass and the voting system from functioning properly. The system is working (we've had 79 votes already), but if you run into an error, just try again in five minutes.
The polls will be open from now through Saturday evening at 11:59:59. An email message will go out in a few minutes reminding all grad students about the vote. Spread the word to other grad students who might not be checking their email! Click here to vote.
We now have four candidates running for President! Check the Voter's Guide for the update. See you tomorrow through Saturday at the online polls!
The Voter's Guide has been updated with a new candidate for President who was added yesterday. (He had emailed eariler in the week when email was not working properly at TWU.) We may have another canidate running for VP as well, so be sure to check the Voter's Guide right before voting, which will be from Tuesday (Sep. 7) through Saturday (Sep. 11). Once voting has started, there will be a permenent freeze on changes to the Voter's Guide.
The Online Voter's Guide is complete. There are now two candidates for president, two for Exeuctive VP, and one for VP of Finance. Official election details will be released later this afternoon via email.
There are four candidates in the race as of this morning. The Online Voter's Guide is being finalized, but for now you can preview it. Because Monday (the 6th) is a holiday, we may need to have the vote run from the 7th-11th, depending on how long it takes to close of the list of candidates today.
Nominees are now being contacted regarding their willingness and ability to run for executive positions. Thank you to all who participated in the nomination process! At this time, we are intending to have an Online Voter's Guide posted here on September 3rd and the actual vote is tentatively scheduled for September 6-11.
The GSA Formation Commitee and the Office of the Vice President of Student Life have sent out an official request for nominations. The text of the email message is here. To nominate yourself or another graduate student, read the announcement and reply to studentlife@twu.ca.
