Trinity Western is one of only two Christian universities in North America to offer a major in Geography. TWU’s geography department focuses on human geography and geographic information systems, and provides courses in regional and physical geography. Students have access to a fully-equipped computer lab and the latest geomatics software. Related courses in the social and natural sciences augment a geography major. These include anthropology, biology, economics, geology, history, political and international studies. Specializations in business and politics equip students with skills for positions in industry, environmental consulting firms, international development agencies and government departments. As a teachable subject in middle and high schools, geography is also an excellent minor for education students.
