HUMANITIES: students choose courses from philosophy, English, French and linguistics.
SOCIAL SCIENCES: students combine courses from geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology.
Note: In both programs, students take a concentration in one discipline and a minor in another, with additional courses from the acceptable list augmenting these specializations.
re•li•gious / stud•ies (BA)
In TWU's religious studies department, students examine the Christian faith and all its dimensions. Students will investigate various theories and criticisms of the Bible, gaining a critical yet biblical worldview. Professors foster an environment in which students can explore how truth, love and justice intersect. TWU's major in religious studies provides broad exposure to three areas of study: biblical studies, Christianity and culture, and intercultural religious studies. Students can also take a degree program in each of these three areas through the religious studies department.
