Thinking of transferring to Trinity Western University? We're ready to help! Although transferring to a new school can sometimes be confusing, our admissions counsellors will do everything they can to make your transition a smooth one.
Every year, TWU welcomes over a hundred transfer students from other two- and four-year institutions. Students who continue their education here find a Christ-centered university that is committed to the highest level of academic excellence and exists to develop students of both competence and character.
We know you already know quite a bit about the college process; however, we encourage you to explore this website and ask plenty of questions to learn if TWU might be a good fit for you. Everything you need to know is available by checking out Admissions Transfer page or contacting one of our admissions counsellors. You can also visit campus to get a taste of student life, meet current students and professors, and learn more about admissions and financial aid.

Do I qualify as a transfer student?
If you have attempted at least 27 transferable semester hours (or credits) at a college or university since graduating from high school then you're considered a transfer student. If you have completed fewer than 27 semester hours or have transfer credit through a dual enrolment program like Running Start, you may still receive transfer credit. In this case we consider you a “Freshman Transfer Student."
Note: Due to the volume of transfer credit applications we receive, we cannot offer preliminary evaluations for transfer credit. Applicants must first complete and submit an admissions application before we will assess post-secondary courses for transfer credit. Transfer credit assessments are completed as part of the admissions process.back to top
