Transfer Students

Thinking of transferring to Trinity Western University? We're ready to help! Although transferring to a new school can sometimes be confusing, our admissions counsellors understand this is an important move for you and will do everything they can to make your transition a smooth one.

Every year, TWU welcomes over a hundred transfer students from other two and four-year institutions. Students who continue their education here find a Christ-centered university that is committed to the highest level of academic excellence and that exists to develop students of both competence and character.

We know you already know quite a bit about the college process; however, we encourage you to explore this website and ask plenty of questions to learn if TWU might be a good fit for you. Everything you need to know is available by checking out this site or contacting one of our admissions counselors. You can also visit campus to get a taste of student life, meet current students and professors, and learn more about admissions and financial aid.

Do I qualify as a transfer student?

If you have attempted at least 27 transferable semester hours (or credits) at a college or university since graduating from high school then you're considered a transfer student. If you have completed fewer than 27 semester hours or have transfer credit through a dual enrolment program like Running Start, don’t worry, you can still receive transfer credit. In this case we consider you a “Freshman Transfer Student".
