Program and Partnership with Mount Royal College
The B.H.K. in Athletic Therapy program is offered in cooperation with Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta. Mount Royal College is one of six Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (C.A.T.A.) accredited institutions in the country. Students in the Trinity Western University Athletic Therapy program attend Mount Royal College usually in their third year and join with students from The University of Calgary, The University of Regina, The University of Lethbridge and other students from across Canada. Trinity Western University students then return to TWU in their fourth year to complete their degree requirements. Upon graduation from TWU, Athletic Therapy students qualify to complete their C.A.T.A. certification exams to become Certified Athletic Therapists.
Spaces are limited at Mount Royal College. Approximately five seats are available for TWU Athletic Therapy students at Mount Royal College each year. The deadline for application to MRC is December 1 to attend for the next year.
