Choosing a university is often a decision that involves the whole family. Bring your parents! There are sessions designed especially for them. Preview Weekend will answer lots of your parents’ questions about TWU and help prepare them for your university experience. Since overnight accommodations are limited to students, here are some suggestions for nearby lodging.
Transfer students - we know you’ve been through this before. You have a different set of questions and concerns. Don’t worry! Preview Weekend will get you the info you need and show you what life is like at TWU.

Cost
There is no cost to attend Preview Weekend.
Accommodations
Students spending the night for Preview Weekend will be provided accommodations in a residence room of a current TWU student on Friday night only. Please plan to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towel. It's highly recommended to bring a camping/foam mattress!
Parents and other guests can find a list of local hotels that offer a preferred rate for TWU here.
Parking and Meeting Locations
Free on-campus parking will be provided for all guests. There will be staff on site to direct you to the appropriate parking areas.
You will be provided with both a schedule of events and a map of campus when you arrive, which will help you navigate our campus over the weekend. There will also be staff on site to assist you.
Meals
All guests will be provided with a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
What to bring
If you’re staying overnight on campus you’ll want to bring:
Sleeping bag or comforter
Pillow
Toiletries
Towel
Clothes
Sleeping Mat (you may be sleeping on the floor)
Camera
