Submitting Assignments

Typically, most courses will provide guidelines for submitting an assignment – it is important to follow these guidelines. Be sure to review all course information and assignment information prior to submitting any documentation.

Many instructors will expect students to use a specific naming convention when submitting an assignment. For example, you might be asked to label your assignments as "FirstName_LastName_AssignmentNumber" instead of "randomtitle99.docx.” Be aware that these are not suggestions, but rather, expectations to help with the organization of documents. The type of document submitted is important too. The assignment information should specify whether you have a choice or if it must be .docx or .pdf.
