Learning Community One is a full-time, one year program to get you started on the right foot. You also have the option of taking it part-time. It is NOT an additional year of studies. It is the first year of your undergraduate degree and all the courses are regular, full credit TWU courses taught by TWU's highly-ranked professors.
You will earn 27 semester hours of credit while studying several of your courses together in a cohort. In other words, you don't have to stress about not knowing people in your classes, feeling alone, or getting lost. You will also have personal one-on-one appointments with a Success Coach to help you feel more confident about your assignments and your academic skills.
At the end of the program, if you have done well (at least 2.0 or a C average), you will be ready to continue and finish your degree.
If you did not do very well in high school but want to try university, you have that chance with LC1. To find out more, read through the pages in this site. If you like what you read, just fill out your online application to Trinity Western University to get the process started.
