Freshmen Academic Scholarship
For new student-athletes starting TWU in the Fall 2016 semester

Eligibility: Student-athletes are eligible if their most recent education is high school or equivalent.
Transfer students see below. Scholarship level is based on interim or final admissions evaluation. Student-athletes must enrol in full-time studies (at least 12 semester hours per semester).
Renewal: Returning students must apply for academic scholarships each year, no later than the first day of classes. A cumulative GPA of 3.5 must be maintained to renew President's Scholarship, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 must be maintained to renew Provost's Scholarship, and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 must be maintained to renew Dean's Scholarship.
Transfer Academic Scholarship
For transfer student-athletes starting TWU in the Fall 2016 semester

Athletic (U Sports) Scholarship
Recipients of athletic scholarships are determined by the coaching staff. As per U Sports (U Sports) Policy, new student athletes who are admitted with an average below 80% or a 3.7 GPA (2.00 GPA for Transfer Students) will need to complete a minimum of 18 semester hours with at least a 2.00 GPA before the U Sports scholarship is disbursed. Following successful completion of 18 semester hours at TWU, the U Sports scholarship will be disbursed (normally in the first week of May).
