YOU ARE A CAREER INFLUENCER!
“Individuals working in a post-secondary institution who informally provide career-related advice, guidance, and/or counselling to prospective and current students and/or alumni.” (Ho, 2018)
Career Development for Your Students
Students report that the number one reason they choose to attend TWU is to find a job. Looking to you as a role model in their field of interest, your students value your support!
What Can I Do with this Major is a resource that helps students understand the types of careers associated with their field of study. Our Career Counsellor in the TWU Learning Commons supports students to better understand their strengths through various assessment tools. If you engage a student that would benefit from career counselling, please let them know that students can book appointments with our Career Counsellor online!

Documenting their Experience
Resumes, Curriculum Vitaes, Graduate School Letters of Intent and Cover Letters are worthy of time spent with a dedicated coach. The Learning Commons offers appointments for students to meet with a Resume Coach to plan, write and review.
