As followers of Christ, everywhere we look we see a broken and hurting world. Trinity Western University exists so the world may know Christ’s truth, compassion, reconciliation, and hope.
Since 1962, Trinity Western has been developing godly Christian leaders, believing the best way to impact the world is to produce thousands of principled, compassionate, and competent University graduates with thoroughly Christian hearts and minds. TWU graduates are meeting the world’s greatest needs, serving God and people in the various marketplaces of life.
The old saying goes, “teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry.” Trinity Western is teaching a person to teach twelve people to fish so that whole communities are being “fed.” TWU is maximizing impact for Kingdom purposes. Planned giving to TWU equips a generation of educated leaders with thoroughly Christian hearts and minds. TWU graduates are not only discovering Christ’s call in their own lives but are responding in turn to the world’s most profound needs and greatest opportunities in their work, neighbourhoods, passions, and pursuits.
Under the leadership of the University’s fourth President, Bob Kuhn (’72), TWU is embarking on a ‘New Era.’ President Kuhn’s vision focuses on ensuring Trinity Western’s academic, spiritual, and financial sustainability. To that end, the leadership team at Trinity Western is taking steps to position the University to build on its five decades of impact. Online education and increased marketing, new and refurbished residences, a Law School, new financial priorities, and increased stakeholder engagement are all contributing to bringing about The New Era for Canada’s leading Christian University under President Kuhn’s leadership.
No one can meet the world’s greatest needs alone. God invites us to participate with Him in building His Kingdom. He entrusts each of us with the time, talent, and treasure to be Christ’s hands and feet. Together, as stewards of what God has entrusted to us, we can make a significant and strategic impact in the world through Trinity Western University—inspiring hearts and minds today and for generations.
