Trinity Western University relies on the generosity of our donors to help provide the transformational education TWU is known for. From athletic programs to study facilities, every donor has the option to designate an area where they would like to make a difference.
Areas that need your support:
The Torchbearer Scholarship Campaign is focused on the goal to bless and impact every single student in need of financial aid. Did you know that many students could not attend Trinity Western University without scholarship support? In fact, 97 percent of the current Trinity Western University student body receives some form of financial aid. Many students struggle to find a balance between going to school, working, and spending time with their families. With tuition fees and the cost of living in the Lower Mainland on the rise, the support that is provided through the Torchbearer Scholarship Campaign truly benefits students by alleviating some of their financial burden. Many of our students would not be able to attend Trinity Western University without scholarships made possible by caring friends like you. The Torchbearer Scholarship Campaign allows you to set up automatic monthly giving toward scholarships for TWU students, so that your gift will continue to bless students on an ongoing basis.
In response to the COVID 19 global pandemic, TWU has launched the following:
As the Trinity Western community adjusts to the COVID-19 situation, about 80 percent of our student body has returned home. However, approximately 266 students (20%) must remain on campus, including 180 international students—who, after exhausting all efforts, cannot return home because of travel disruptions and restrictions to destination countries currently under lockdown. To care for our students, we will subsidize food costs, provide gift cards, and offer daily shuttle service to help students go grocery shopping. Your gift will go directly to food purchases and physically nourish students on campus.
TWU is preparing the boldest initiative in our history to expand our work around the world. Over the next six months, TWU will prepare our entire campus to deliver education through a multi-access model where students can learn on campus and online simultaneously. Travel bans and restrictions could well frustrate the dreams of thousands of students to travel to Trinity Western University this fall. Rather than waiting for borders to re-open, we are poised to meet this challenge. Your financial support will enable us to deliver a personal, transformative, and Christ-centered TWU education to thousands of students wherever they live.
