Host your next event in our historic mansion in downtown Ottawa, ON.

The century-old J. R. Booth Mansion, a registered heritage site in the heart of downtown Ottawa, offers a unique and attractive rental venue opportunity for your next event. The entire main floor of the building is characterized by a striking array of wood and impressive carving, a legacy from the founder’s career as a lumber baron, which you can experience for yourself through our virtual tour.

Whether you’re with a public or private sector, or an independent group, you are invited to rent one or more of the main floor rooms to host your event in this historic venue. Our rentable space features three room types suited to a variety of events. Past uses of the facility have included everything from general meetings and board retreats, to film and photo shoots, dinners, receptions, galas, lectures, and even weddings. We are always open to new event types and are eager to work with you to meet your group’s specific needs.
