On October 1, 2022, the Canadian federal government suspended all COVID-19 border testing, quarantine and isolation requirements. Additionally, anyone entering Canada, is not required to provide proof of vaccination or complete the ArriveCan app. This includes international students. 

PLEASE NOTE: As of January 5, 2023 the Canadian government has temporarily imposed pre-departure COVID-19 testing for all air travelers originating in China, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Travel documentation is still required to enter Canada. As part of the general paperwork needed, students can request documented proof of enrollment below as additional supporting documentation.

Travel Testing in BC

Travel-related COVID-19 testing is still required for some international destinations and is available at several locations across British Columbia.

Travel COVID-19 Testing Centers

COVID Travel testing (Rapid Antigen Test) is available to TWU students and employees for a fee through the Langley Wellness Center as supplies last. Find hours of operation and request an in-person appointment online: https://www.twu.ca/wellness-centre.

Point of Entry to Canada: There are differences in requirements depending upon whether you fly or drive to Canada. Please see the Government of Canada travel web page for the latest details.

ArriveCan App: The ArriveCan app is still operational and may be useful for travelers arriving to Canada.

Travel from Hotel or Airport to TWU: Taxi, Ride Sharing (Uber, Lyft) or personal vehicles are approved means of travel to TWU. New students who have questions or concerns about transportation should speak to their admissions counsellor.
