Ann Fontanilla, Executive Director of TWU Global – Branches, shares her life story of overcoming and the joys of serving in higher education

Filipino-Canadian Ann Fontanilla is Executive Director of TWU GLOBAL – Branches. She grew up in Limay, Bataan and graduated from the University of the Philippines-Diliman in Quezon City. Fontanilla began her first job with the Philippines government at the Office of the Cabinet Secretariat, at the age of 21. She later joined the administration of the first female president of the Philippines, President Corazon “Cory” Aquino.

This month, Fontanilla's life story and journey to Canada was featured in an article in the Philippine Canadian Inquirer, "Ann Fontanilla: A story of falling down, standing up, and reaching out to pull up others."
