In an effort to understand and successfully navigate the current COVID-19 climate we all find ourselves in, we at Trinity Western University desire to support the wellbeing of our students and our entire community as a whole.
Due to the increase in confirmed cases in North America in recent days and weeks—we have decided to transition our regularly scheduled Preview Weekend on-campus event to be an online immersive experience, which we’re calling, “TWU Live: Bringing Campus to You”.
We initiated this change because as a global university, our Preview Weekend attracts prospective students and families from all over North America, many of whom have expressed travel concerns regarding COVID-19 and the possibility of exposure due to flight connections through places such as Seattle.
By launching this brand new, virtual experience, we are leveraging our innovative online capabilities and combining them with the latest in VR technology, providing prospective students the opportunity to have a truly immersive online campus visit experience.
This new digital format is affording us the opportunity to expand the scope of our in-person campus visit experience and engage with prospective students and interested audiences across North America.
