Description
In this course, students study modern Japanese, both oral and written, at the intermediate level. They continue to learn basic grammar principles through the study of increasingly complex sentence patterns. On a regular basis, they memorize Chinese characters, called 'Kanji' in Japanese. Classes include reading, conversational activities, and listening practice in the lab. Cultural components are also included.
