Orientation Day (or O-DAY as it's affectionately called on campus) is a day filled with varied events and sessions designed to help students and parents make the transition to university life as smooth as possible. This is the very reason TWU student leaders, staff and faculty work hard to make sure students and their parents feel welcomed and supported on this day and throughout their education at Trinity Western.
While your son or daughter begins O-Day, you, as parents, will have an opportunity to get connected and informed as well. President Bob Kuhn, key staff members, faculty and student leaders all contribute to making you feel supported in the events of this day. Visit your student's dorm, check out the beautiful commuter Collegium facilities, attend very practical and helpful parent sessions, and receive helpful resources that suggest ways on how to best support your student. And on top of all that, it's super fun!
On Orientation Day: Check in at the Parent Tent to receive parent information that will assist your day on campus. As well, enter your name in a draw for one of several awesome prizes to be drawn on Saturday morning and afternoon at our 2 distinct parent sessions.
ETC: Learn about medical insurance, banking options, student programs & services, telephone plans, the Greater Vancouver area, and more. Located in the Reimer Student Centre right by the Bookstore.
