Alessandra Alexander, MA, CCC

Clinical Counsellor

My education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (B.A.) with a Certificate in Human Services and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (M.A.) from Trinity Western University.

I operate from a trauma-informed, relationally-centered approach, that encourages a sense of collaboration and curiosity throughout the process. I have experience working with young adults and individuals dealing with a broad range of issues including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life transition, shame, and emotional regulation. I love any activity that allows me to be outdoor and explore nature. Recently that means a lot of biking, backpacking, and camping. I am also always on the hunt for a new book to enjoy.

My aim is to provide you with a space of empathy, warmth, and acceptance where you can safely explore yourself and your experiences. My hope is not only for you to find healing and growth, but to experience an increased sense of calm and joy so that you can engage in life in a more meaningful and fulfilling way. It takes an incredible amount of courage to enter into the counselling process, and I would be honoured to be a part of your journey.
